No matter what you believe in, there is only one question on everyone’s mind: Why are we here? We are all a community of 8 billion people looking for answers to the questions of whether there is a God and why the universe works this way. While some of us seek answers in atheism, most of us try to find answers in the options of theist world. But what if the answer is actually right in front of our eyes and that answer hides itself from us? What if this mystery is a natural result of the functioning of the universe? If the universe is a giant machine that acts manipulatively to hide all the answers? So neither atheists nor theists are wrong? Let’s start.
The Mystery of the Universe: Meaningless Events Gaining Meaning
Let’s start explaining with a very popular topic: What is time? In its most basic definition, we call the mechanism that separates events from each other time. So has time always existed?
This question was a question we almost never asked until Stephen Hawking. Interestingly, while investigating other questions, we suddenly came to the conclusion that time may not have always existed.
According to Stephen Hawking, there was no such thing as time before the beginning of time. Hawking put forward the theory, which is still accepted in the scientific world, that the moment when time and physical laws gained meaning began with the Big Bang.
In other words, according to scientific evidence, time may have begun with the birth of the universe. If we accept this conclusion, we also have to accept the concept of timelessness.
So how is this possible? How can time emerge from timelessness? You should focus on this question thoroughly, because there is no action in a place where there is no time. All verbs belong to time: past tense, past tense with perfect, present tense, future tense or present tense. There is definitely a concept of time in every verb. So how can action occur in a place where there is no time?
If this question confuses you, let’s continue with the other oddities of the universe. Because the universe continues these oddities not only at its birth, but in every atom.
According to traditional laws of physics, a mass can never exceed the speed of light. But when you get down to the quantum world, particles can affect each other regardless of time and space. Forget about the phenomenon of quantum entanglement that you often hear about; this phenomenon has already begun to be used to make communication satellites. We have started to send data anywhere in space with zero loss of time. So what happened to the rule of not exceeding the speed of light? What does it mean to exceed the speed of light, even if it is a particle? Or do we need to find another explanation for this situation?
Let’s give another example from the quantum world. As in the Schrödinger’s cat experiment, the uncertainty of whether the cat is both dead and alive continues until the observation is made. Even the presence of an observer can affect the outcome of events. This shows how important the role of the observer is in the quantum world. So what is this if not a phenomenon?
Dark matter, black holes and all the other mysteries… There is only one constant in all these phenomena: As scientists investigate these events, they obtain more and more confusing results. One explanation requires another, even more mind-boggling explanation. As we reverse engineer the workings of the universe, we reach conclusions that confuse us mere mortals even more.
The Breaking Point of Scientific Explanations: The Butterfly Effect
Think again: Whatever is impossible, the universe presents it to us as a scenario under the name of science. When we research for a long time, everything progresses so logically up to a point that we cannot even question scientific explanations. But at some point, we realize that something that has no scientific explanation creates the butterfly effect. We do not know how to explain that effect there and we usually ignore it, saying that science will explain it in the future. However, with each pull of a thread, more threads emerge. This continues until scientists give up on this game.
Well, isn’t this situation an explanation in itself?
What if the universe is doing exactly what it is supposed to do? What if the universe is a mechanism that makes meaningless events in the world of matter and time meaningful and skillfully hides this?
A Metaphysical Perspective?
Was it too metaphysical a perspective? Then let’s go back to the first question and look for a scientific answer. You are free to think of all kinds of crazy ideas.
How did time arise from timelessness? There are several theories on this subject: The Big Bang and the theory of the beginning of time, quantum cosmology approaches, simulation or multiverse theories, and Hawking and Hartle’s timelessness model.
But since the issue in question is timelessness, you have to write all these scientific explanations without using verbs. Because it needs to be emphasized again and again that there can be no action in timelessness. There can be no verbs!
How can we explain a concept like timelessness without using verbs when we cannot even write a sentence without using verbs in this universe of matter and time? This is a completely impossible situation, and science has put us in a dead end at this point and left us in the arms of metaphysics.
In this case, we have to return to our original assumption and re-emphasize our obligatory explanation:
The universe is a scripted order that manipulates information by bending and twisting it at the subatomic scale in order to create meaningful results for whatever may be meaningless for the superatomic world.
As the world of science researches and says that there is a scientifically plausible explanation for every phenomenon, time is formed from timelessness, quantum entanglement or it actually changes according to the observer, it has reached results that can be considered almost metaphysical. We are sure that science and scientists will not stop at this point. Because such a pause would be against the genes of a curious person. Science will most likely find explanations for these phenomena as well. But again, depending on the course of events, we can say that those results that will be reached will bring information much closer to metaphysical information.
Moreover, it is a result that once we accept that the universe manipulates information by bending and twisting it at the subatomic world, we can give the most logical answers to all the questions and problems that seem illogical and meaningless to us.
For example, is there a theory of evolution? If we are convinced of the theory of the scripted universe that manipulates, yes, there is. But on the other hand, theist theory is also true. According to theist theory, man was created by the intervention of God. The universe filled the bottom with 300 million years to fit such an intervention into the superatomic world.
Did it seem so ridiculous? Yes, it is an unbelievably strange assumption when looking from the world of matter and time.
So, since we can accept timelessness, how would the evolutionary process have gone if you had seen the entire evolutionary process from a timeless place? In other words, suppose that a person is an observer from outside of time and that you are observing the universe from a place where there is no time. For that observer, 13.8 billion years would not have passed for the universe to form, and 300 million years would not have been needed for evolution. The entire process would have been just a moment for the observer. Just like the information transmitted in theist thought.
Is this acceptance much more illogical for science, which can accept the concept of timelessness?
And don’t forget, the same science also found the results of events that can change according to the place and time the observer is in.
The Manipulation Model of the Universe: A Unifying Reasoning
Another supporting idea is this; As human beings, we cannot accept any event in this universe, whether it is scientific, sociological or philosophical, with peace of mind.
For some reason, there are at least two pieces of information for any event in our universe that constantly changes according to the perspective. The reason for this would of course be a separate topic of discussion. But if the universe is so manipulative for the subatomic world, isn’t it normal for everything produced by the universe to have such different ideas?
In addition, isn’t this assumption itself evidence of manipulation? Even if all this writing seems absurd to you, it will seem very logical to some. At the end of this narrative, we have automatically created two separate groups of ideas. Isn’t the very idea that the universe works manipulatively a situation that proves itself, showing how well it does its job of manipulating even ideas?
